In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to extend a hearty thank you to all of our WCS educators. Thank you for your dedication, skill and love for the boys and girls of Williamson County Schools. As engaged parents and volunteers in the schools, we get an up-close view your work, your character, and your love for the kids. We also appreciate you as the professionals you are and believe that real respect – from parents and the district – is not just about saying thank you. Real respect means listening to teachers on standards, curriculum, textbooks, and testing. Real respect means supporting teachers’ rights to have a life and an opinion outside of work. Real respect also means acknowledging that teachers are trying to raise their own families and should be paid appropriately.
Thank you, teachers!
